Beauty by Tara is a personal-care studio producing skincare, body care, and house-label retail goods. We work in measured batches, with named ingredients and traceable formulas, for boutique apothecaries and wholesale partners.

Each collection is built around a small set of complementary materials, then offered in two finishes: a Beauty by Tara signature label, and a private-label set sized for boutique wholesale orders.

Inside the studio
A studio, not a factory floor.
We pour in measured runs, by hand, in a single studio in Salem, Ohio. Every batch is logged with formula version, pour date, and lot number. The number on the bottom of the jar can be matched against a written record — nothing leaves without a paper trail.
- Batches are sized to the shelf life of the formula, not to the size of the order.
- Formula revisions are versioned. Earlier versions are kept on file and reproducible on request.
- Wholesale customers receive a one-page batch sheet with each pallet.
- We say no when an ingredient or shelf-life claim cannot be supported.
Where we fit
Built to sit on a wooden shelf, in a small store, in a small town.
Our work is meant for apothecaries, salons, hotel boutiques, and farm-stand storefronts — places where the label and the labeller are both expected to mean something.
